Late and Missed Appointment Policy

At Hope Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves in offering our clients personalized care and reserve appointment times to ensure you and your pet have adequate time with the doctor. Late arrivals, missed appointments and cancellations without sufficient notice, do not allow us to give the care and attention needed to provide the excellent veterinary medicine we strive for, and our clients expect. We are implementing a new cancellation protocol that we feel is the best solution to ensure our patients are seen efficiently and on time.

Cancellations:

We are requiring at least 24-hour notice on cancellations. As a courtesy to our clients, we attempt to confirm all appointments and send multiple reminders beforehand. We do understand that situations arise that are out of your control, however, please notify us immediately if your appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.

If an appointment is not canceled within the 24-hour time required, that appointment will be marked as a missed appointment. You will be notified by mail and no fee will be assessed for the 1st time.

Missed Appointments or No Shows:

If an appointment is missed more than once, a fee will be charged to your account of $50. After 3 or more missed appointments or no shows, you will be required to prepay the examination fee for any future appointments.

Late Arrivals:

If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment to another time. This is to ensure that the clients who arrive on time do have to wait longer than necessary to see the doctor. If you are late more than 2 times, we will ask that you prepay for your next appointment.
